Helping You Share About Jesus

By sharing your faith, you could help someone come to know Jesus.

Below are some steps to help you share your faith in Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.

How To Share Your Story

Every Christian should be able to share their testimony within 2-3 minutes. Here is a simple framework to help you talk about how Jesus has changed your life.

What what your life like before you followed Jesus? You don't need to spend a ton of time going through every detail of your life but share about how you were searching for life and didn't find what you were looking for.

How did you hear about Jesus? When did you become a Christian? Why did you put your faith in Jesus? Spend some time talking when you gave your life to Jesus.

What has God done in your life since following Jesus? Have addictions been broken? How have people ministered to you? How has the church helped you grow? Spend a few minutes talking about the life-change you've experienced since following Jesus.

How to Share the Gospel – The ABCs of Salvation

There are many ways to present the Gospel to someone.

The ABCs are a simple way to share the Good News about Jesus.

God created you and loves you deeply, more than you can imagine. His desire is for you to know Him personally and live in a relationship with Him forever. God created every human on purpose, with purpose, and for a purpose.

Though God loves us, each of us has chosen our own way and sinned against Him. Sin breaks our relationship with God and brings spiritual separation that we cannot fix on our own.

Without a solution, we remain far from the life God desires for us.

Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…"

Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise again, defeating death. Through Jesus, we are offered forgiveness, freedom, and new life with God now and forever.

John 3:16: “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Romans 5:8: “But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

God invites you to respond by placing your faith in Jesus, believing He died and rose again for you. Turn from sin, trust in Him as Savior and Lord, and begin a new life following Him.

Salvation is a gift, received by grace through faith, not something we earn, but something we receive.

Romans 10:9–10: “If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.”

Romans 10:13: “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

To begin a relationship with Jesus, confess your need for Him in prayer.

A simple, sincere prayer might sound like:
“Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I trust You as my Savior and choose to follow You as Lord. Come into my life and make me new.”

When you call on Jesus with a sincere heart, He promises to save you. From that moment on, you begin a new journey of growing in your relationship with Him through prayer, reading the Bible, connecting with other believers, and living out your faith.
