Making Disciples of All Nations

There are approximately 17,311 people groups in the world today. Of these, approximately 7,276 are identified as having little or no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Further, 3,175 people groups are considered unengaged – which means no one is attempting to reach them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. To sum it up, there are approximately 3.4 billion people who have never heard of the hope of the gospel and about 5.7 million whom no one is attempting to reach.  We send missionaries to our national and international mission partners to share the Gospel, plant churches, and make disciples.

Baltimore | August 20-24, 2024

Purpose of Trip:  Working directly with the marginalized, the homeless, and the addicted, we serve with the staff of the Transformation Center to bring hope through Jesus Christ.
Cost: Approximately $500

Ideal Team: If you have a compassionate heart, enjoy helping and serving others, and care for the marginalized of this world, this trip is for you!

North Africa | Fall 2024

Purpose of Trip: This trip to North Africa is focusing on connecting with a people group that has very little Christian witness.
Cost: Approximately $3,000

Ideal Team: 3-6 people that can speak Spanish, able to teach English as a second language, or have training in athletics, art, medicine, or videography, and enjoy traveling to difficult places are perfect for this trip.

Osaka, Japan | April 4-12, 2025

Purpose of Trip:  To engage a people group with very little access to the Christian witness.
Cost: Approximately $3500

Ideal Team: 3-5. Adults 18 and over. People that are in their 20's or 30's and are strong in relational skills, enjoy  meeting new people, and are able to share Jesus through everyday conversations are perfect for this trip.
Informational Meeting: Sunday, April 21st, 12:15 pm, room 130 of the Worship Center.

Interest Form

Oslo, Norway | May 29 - June 7, 2025

Purpose of Trip: Evangelism- to engage in conversation with people in the park. We will be handing out coffee to people from a coffee cart as the conversation starter, then sharing our faith, and inviting them to church.
Cost: Approximately $3,000

Ideal Team: 3-6 people who are sociable, able to talk about their testimony without churchy language, must be able to walk 15,000-20,000 steps a day. Co-ed, 20s-40s. Must be able to engage with young adults in the community.

Baltimore | June 1-7, 2025

Purpose of Trip:  FBCL will be partnering with the Transformation Center of inner city Baltimore to repair, remodel, and upgrade ministry facilities.  
Cost: Approximately $200

Ideal Team: If you have skills as an electrician, plumber, or carpenter, or other related fields, this trip is just for you.

Honduras | June 1-8, 2025

Purpose of Trip: Compassion – the team will be visiting schools, distributing food bags, visiting with the elderly, and encouraging local congregations.
Cost: Approximately $1250
Ideal Team: 45 people, Loving and compassionate. Need to be able to endure minor discomforts and hardships (lots of walking, no A/C, heat, etc.) No gender or age restrictions! All ages are welcome.

Ghana, Accra-Kasoa | August 15-24, 2025

Purpose of Trip: Purpose of Mission Trip: Discipleship and Evangelism - The team will be teaching & training church leaders in church growth principles, doctrine, and apologetics.  The team will also be conducting personal evangelism withing the city of Accra.
Cost: Approximately $3,000

Ideal Team: 5 to 10 people who have the gift of teaching/discipleship and evangelism. Adults, ages 18 and over.

Ethiopia | September 5-14, 2025

Purpose of Trip:  This trip to Ethiopia will be focusing on teaching doctrine, apologetics, and church planting to pastors and church leaders.  
Cost: Approximately $3000

Ideal Team: People that are gifted in the area of teaching are perfect for this trip.
