Kidz Inc. Children’s Ministry

Kidz Inc. exists to partner with families to influence kids for Jesus.

We know that many parents want to raise children with good character, values and a heart for God, but struggle to find the time and means to do so. Because we believe in the biblical model that teaches that the home should be the primary place where a child learns about God, we want to help equip parents to make the most of everyday moments with their children.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday kids are challenged to trust God, make wise choices and build lasting friendships.

Children’s Church
Kids spend 1/2 of their time on Sunday mornings in a large group environment (Children’s Church) where they hear the Bible story. We use costumes, props and characters from the story – anything that makes the Bible come to life. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing as loud as they want and tell God how much they love Him.

Life Groups
Before or after participating in worship, kids travel to their life group room where their leaders help them understand how the day’s bottom-line can fit into their everyday life. Life group leaders are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the truth. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him and to build friendships that will last. Every Sunday they connect with the same group of kids and same leader. That way they get connected and we have the best chance to establish relationships that are going to matter when they need it most.

Kidz Inc. Worship Teams

Everyone is called to worship.  Who better to lead kids in worship than other kids?  That’s why we have several groups of 7 – 8 kids who rotate leading worship each and every Sunday in Kidz Inc.  Not only that, the whole group leads the adult services several times throughout the year.  Our focus in leading worship will always be that if we lift up the name of Jesus, that He will draw people unto Himself.  Our job is to sing the truth of God’s Word, be prepared, do our very best, and let God do the rest.  We encourage your children to put their mind’s attention and their heart’s affection on the God who loves them.  And we have a lot of fun doing it!

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Nights are all about repetition and fun.  We believe that repetition is the key to learning.  On Wednesday nights we re-teach the same lesson from Sunday Morning, but done in a totally different way.  We also put extra focus on different Bible Skills: scripture memory, learning the books of the Bible, what it looks like to have a quiet time.  We also have a time of recreation where the kids get a chance to play really cool games in the gym and continue building relationships with the leaders.

Security / Check In

We believe that kids are a parent’s most valuable possession.  Because of this, we go to great lengths to make sure when you trust us with their care, we do everything possible to keep them safe and secure.  We ask that everyone fill out one of our registration sheets.  This gives us contact information in the event of emergency.

When you first arrive, we ask that you accompany your child to the Kidz Inc. Welcome Center to sign them in.  Each of you will receive a matching numbered lanyard.  Your child will then enter the appropriate room and will be under our supervision.  When it is time to leave, simply present the leader with your child’s matching lanyard to pick up your child.

In the event that the lanyard is missing, simply go to the Kidz Inc. Welcome center and someone will be stationed there to help you.  Please bring photo ID with you to speed up this process.

Why We Do What We Do:

The story of God reveals the character of God.  That’s why we use Bible stories to teach core virtues.  And to make it easy to understand, each principle is supported by a weekly Bottom Line – a short phrase so easy to remember that it can be reinforced at home throughout the week.  In fact, when a kid transitions into middle school, we want that child to have experienced and own three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52: I need to make the wise choice; I can trust God no matter what; I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

These truths are reinforced each week through use of a monthly virtue.  Why virtues?  Because they display God’s character.  And when we live them out, not only do we understand His heart more, so do the people around us.

Please NOTE:

Drop off is always 15 minutes prior to the start time of the service.

Pick up is expecting no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the service.

At Home:

We believe that what happens at home is far more important than what happens at church.  That’s why we want to equip you with the resources for the home.  We call them Parent CUES because they are designed to help parents reinforce stories and virtues at home.  We have Fridge Door Card: Parent’s notes to encourage them to interact with and teach their children about faith and character.  GodTime Cards are notes for Kids’ to help children establish a consistent devotional experience.  You can also download a “Parent CUE” app on both Android and iPhones to help assist you more.
