Food has been rolling through our doors by the bagfuls the last few weeks! Thank you for ALL of the donations for our food pantry and for the Blessing Baskets dinner! Each week we have many families who come to us for help in meeting their physical needs and it is such a blessing to be able to do so and not turn them away. Thank you for your willingness to serve God through serving others!

Men of Issachar

October 18th, 2010

1 Chronicles 12:32 talks about the men of Issachar. They were leaders “who understood the times and knew what [they] should do”.

As believers we also have to be aware of the times we live in and make wise plans based on our current situations. We, as a church staff, have spent many months in prayer, asking God to reveal His plans for us during these tough economic times.

The answers have not always been easy to hear, but we trust the One who has spoken them, and, in obedience will follow those plans.

We know that all things are from God, through God, and to God. We are only stewards, using his resources to further his kingdom.

As one of your leaders, I humbly ask for your prayers that God will make us wise stewards who make plans in accordance to the times and for the ultimate glory of God.
