The Lord’s Supper is worship through remembrance. It is specifically for those who have placed their faith in Jesus and asked Him to lead their lives, and is a response to one of Jesus’ last instructions to His disciples. By eating and drinking a small portion of bread and juice, we remember Christ’s death that paid for our sins, His constant presence and love in our lives, and His promise to return.
